How much logo design costs
A logo costs €80. The price covers everything you need to start using it straight away: concepts, revisions and files for print and the web.
| Service | Price |
|---|---|
| Logo: 3-5 concepts, revisions, files, colour palette and fonts | €80 |
| Brand identity | From €578 |
| Applying the logo to clothing or a vehicle | priced before work starts |
The printing or wrapping itself is charged separately at the price of that service.
What to send before work starts
One e-mail to info@mcdizains.lv is enough. The clearer you describe what you want, the closer the first concepts will be.
- Your company name exactly as it should appear in the logo.
- What you do and who your customers are.
- The kind of logo you have in mind: simple or illustrated, serious or playful.
- Colours you like or dislike.
- Other companies’ logos you think work well, even from a different industry.
How a logo is created
- You send your company name and wishes to info@mcdizains.lv.
- In about 5 working days we prepare 3-5 different concepts.
- You choose the closest concept and tell us what to change: colour, lettering or layout.
- You receive the final logo in JPG, PDF, SVG, CDR and other formats, with a colour palette and fonts.
Everything happens by e-mail, so there is no need to come to the office. After the first concepts, the overall timing depends on how quickly we agree on revisions.
Why you need SVG, PDF and CDR, not just JPG
A JPG is a raster image: it is made of pixels, and enlarged beyond its own size it becomes blurry. SVG, PDF and CDR are vector files: they store shapes, not pixels, so the logo can be scaled to any size without losing quality.
| File | Type | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| SVG | Vector | Websites, plotter cutting, any size |
| Vector | Print shops, banners, layouts | |
| CDR | Vector | Editing in CorelDRAW, print workshops |
| JPG | Raster | E-mail, social media, documents |
With these files you can print the logo, use it on your website or hand it to another print shop, without going back to the designer every time you need a new format.
How to check whether a logo is good
A good logo has to work beyond a large size on a screen. Before you pick a concept, test it in these situations:
- At a small size, such as on a business card or a browser tab. Can you still read the name?
- In one colour, black and white. Is the logo still recognisable?
- On dark and light backgrounds.
- From a distance, such as on a sign or a vehicle.
