Cookie policy
Updated 27 October 2026.
In short
mcdizains.lv uses one technical record that remembers your choice in the cookie notice, and Google Analytics cookies if you accept them. We do not use advertising cookies or personalised ads. If you do not give consent, Google Analytics is not loaded at all.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. The browser’s local storage (localStorage) works in a similar way. In this policy we call both cookies, because the same rules apply to them.
Which cookies we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| mc-cookie-consent | Necessary (localStorage) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies, so the notice is not shown on every page. | Until you clear it in your browser or change your choice |
| _ga | Analytics, Google Analytics | Tells one visitor apart from another so that visits can be counted. | 2 years |
| _ga_TTJ6FNYSNR | Analytics, Google Analytics | Stores the state of the visit (session). | 2 years |
Analytics cookies are set only after you press "Accept" in the cookie notice.
What Google Analytics measures
Google Analytics 4 shows which pages are visited, where visitors come from (for example Google search), which devices and browsers they use, and their approximate location at country or city level. We only see aggregated reports, not individual people.
- Google Analytics 4 does not log or store your IP address.
- Advertising features are switched off: ad storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are denied.
- Analytics data is kept for no longer than 14 months, after which Google deletes it automatically.
The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. More: Google privacy policy.
Legal basis
We use the necessary record because without it the website cannot remember your choice. We use analytics cookies only with your consent, under Section 7.1 of the Latvian Information Society Services Law and Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR.
How to change or withdraw consent
You can change your choice at any time by pressing "Cookie settings" at the bottom of the site or the button below. If you withdraw consent, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted and analytics is no longer loaded. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings.
External services
- On the contact page, the map is loaded from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data). To show the map, your browser connects to that service, and it sees your IP address.
- Links to Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp open those services only when you click them. From then on, their own privacy rules apply.
