Privacy policy

In short
We process personal data only when you give it to us yourself (in a form, by e-mail, by phone or on WhatsApp) or when the website needs it to work. We use it to reply, prepare a quote and fulfil your order. We do not sell data or use it for advertising. Google Analytics runs only with your consent.
Who the controller is
Two companies work on mcdizains.lv under the shared MC Dizains brand. Each is the controller of the data you send to it:

The tick box in the form ("I agree that my data is processed") covers only our reply to your enquiry. We do not send newsletters.
Who receives the data
- Forms are sent through the Web3Forms service, which forwards the submission to the relevant company’s e-mail. The website itself does not store form data.
- If a project request is sent through your own e-mail program, it reaches us through your and our e-mail providers.
- E-mail and hosting providers store e-mails and website files on our behalf.
- Google Ireland Limited receives analytics data only if you have accepted analytics cookies.
- On the contact page, the map is loaded from OpenFreeMap (OpenStreetMap data), and that service sees your IP address.
- Public authorities and accounting service providers, only where the law or bookkeeping requires it.
Transfers outside the European Economic Area
Google Analytics data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. If any other provider processes data outside the EEA, the transfer takes place only with the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
Cookies
The website uses one technical record to remember your choice and, only with your consent, Google Analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies. More detail: cookie policy.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- access your data and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data;
- ask for your data to be erased;
- restrict processing;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- withdraw your consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
To exercise them, write to the company you sent your data to: info@mcdizains.lv or web@mcdizains.lv. We reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.
If you believe your data is being processed unlawfully, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate (Datu valsts inspekcija): www.dvi.gov.lv.
Automated decisions
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that would significantly affect you.
Security
The website runs only over a secure HTTPS connection. Access to e-mails and order data is limited to the people who need it for their work.
Changes
When we change this policy, the date at the top of the page changes. Significant changes, such as a new service provider, are described here.
